Lock Screen

1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
2. Tap the area below the clock to open the widget list.
3. Find “Principles” and add “A Random Principle”.

Home Screen

1. Touch and hold the Home Screen, then tap +.
2. Find “Principles” and add “A Random Principle”.

It refreshes hourly; tap the widget to draw the next one.

Trial & purchase

Every feature is free for 7 days from first launch. Afterwards, adding and editing principles needs the one-time $1.99 unlock; reading, the “Now” card and the widget keep working forever. Already paid on another device? Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchase — the unlock follows your Apple ID.

iCloud sync

Sign in to iCloud in iOS Settings; Principles syncs privately via your personal iCloud. The app's Settings page shows the current status.

Requirements

iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Lock Screen widgets are available on all supported versions.
